Explosives are materials that produce violent chemical or nuclear reactions. Explosive material is a reactive substance that contains a great amount of potential energy that can produce an explosion and usually accompanied by light, heat, sound and pressure.
The forensic team of Approved Forensics Sdn Bhd (AFSB) was approached to determine the authorship of signatures on agreement documents. Since the agreement involves legal transactions, clients required our service to determine if the signatures on the questioned documents and the reference documents are signed by the same person.
A Reverse Angle Photo Finish Camera (RAPFC), located at the finishing post of a horse racing track, was reported to have failed. The incident was discovered by the operator when he noticed that the computer at the Stipes and Judge room failed to establish a connection to the RAPFC at the Finishing Post.

At about 0630 hours on Sunday, 29 January 2017, a fire occurred at the premises of a injection moulding factory. The incident was first discovered by their technician who was on foot patrol.

On 15 December 2016, Thursday, at about 1400 hours, there was an incident involving a transformer/ switchgear located in the premises of a golf resort in Johor. The witness/ technician of the golf resort stated that he heard an ‘explosion’ like sound while he was waiting for a meeting with the General Manager at the clubhouse nearby.
At approximately 1300 hours on Saturday, 14 December 2013, a loud bang resembling an explosion was heard at the exhaust ducting of Gas Turbine Generator (GT) 1 after eleven (11) attempts of ignition during the maintenance period.
A Mitsubishi generator was reported to have failed within the premises of power generation station at South Ternate, North Maluku, Indonesia. The incident was discovered when the alarm system of the generator activated.
